Hobart Community Foundation Hobart Community Foundation is a tax-exempt permanent, charitable fund working for the benefit of Hobart. If you would like to contribute, we would love for your participation. In addition, tax deductible donations can be accepted. The Foundation was created after the successful Hobart Centennial Celebration when funds were initially raised for a new community center. Hobart Community Foundation is one of only a few state or nationwide organizations like this. While their most current goal is the research, development, and funding of a Community Center for Hobart there are many more projects on the horizon. A computer generated model of a proposed Community Center is in development as we speak and will hopefully be unveiled in the near future. If possible we'll try and make it available here as well.
