Hobart Main Street Goals for 2005-06

Many of these are already underway:

• Utilizing the Hobart Seed Co. Facilities for new business
• Renovating the movie theater
• Providing support to building owners with Design Grants and Energy Grants
• Add additional Christmas lights on the Courthouse Square
• Apply for another MODA Grant for storefront renovations
• Apply for another Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Farmers Market Grant
• Develop tourism in Hobart and SW Oklahoma
• Continue to add additional activities at various events during the year
• Conduct a Hobart Main Street Benefit Golf Tournament
• Promote the development of upper floor are of building with owners
• Provide opportunities for training and seminars for business people
• Strive to complete application materials for National Historic District Certification
• Continue to improve the Hobart Main Street Newsletter
• Publish and sell the book, "Hobart, Oklahoma, A Well Balanced City"
