What's Happening on Main Street in Hobart

The holiday season is upon us. We look forward to the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony & Moonlight Madness in downtown Hobart on November 27th.

The activities will begin at 5:00 pm and run until 8:00 pm. There will be face painting, popcorn, a clown, fire truck and hay rides with a visit from Santa. The actual tree lighting will be at 6:00 pm.

Merchants have plans for an exciting day. Cards will be distributed for customers to go to the individual businesses that are open and obtain signatures. When the cards are full they can deposit them in a box located at Courthouse Square where lucky winners will take home a ham or turkeys. The drawing will be at 8:00.

In the meantime the Christmas Cash Giveaway is in progress. Many merchants are participating in the event. Don’t forget to ask for your tickets when you shop and in some cases pay your bills! The cash drawing will be held on December 18th.
