Hobart becomes a National Historic Downtown District

Our Main Street office has been contacted by Jim Gabbert of the Oklahoma Preservation Office in OKC.  He officially announced that the Hobart Downtown District is official on the National Registry of Historic Places as a National Historic Downtown District.

This was announced from the National Historical Society in Washington D.C.  There will be an official news release coming out soon.  We have a wonderful downtown area and this will certainly add to our attempts to increase tourism.  It will, also, aid the property owners with tax credits on any improvements or renovation projects.
