Fire

Housed in the original Hobart city hall, the Hobart Fire Department has five full-time firefighters and fourteen volunteer firefighters.  The Hobart Fire Department makes sure that Hobart citizens rest easy knowing that in case of an emergency they are in trusting and capable hands.  Our fire department has a ISO Insurance Rating of five(5) and responds to 175 to 250 fire and service calls per year.

Fire Dept

HFD has three Level I Fire Instructors trained through OSU Fire Service and two EMS Instructors.  All firefighters are at least EMTs or First Responders.

HFD has a rescue unit responsible for Jaws of Life emergencies as well as an twelve-man rescue dive team.  These teams answer service and fire calls from accidents to body recovery.

HFD maintains an array of emergency vehicles.
