Exploration Station Only one block from the main part of downtown Hobart is the creative children's playground constructed solely by Hobart volunteers. The money for the Exploration Station was raised from donations. The final cost of the project will be over $100,000. It's the pride and joy of the community because it was built by the citizens of Hobart and offers hours of enjoyment to children from kindergarten to middle school.
Hunter Park Northwest Hobart Hunter Park is located in the northwestern part of Hobart and has long been a source of pride, as well as entertainment, for the people of Hobart. The park was established in the 1920's by one of our early-day mayors, and was developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the early 30's. It features playground areas, picnic tables, barbecue pits, walking trails, fishing spots, flowers, trees, and cool places for summer. It is one of Hobart's most popular facilities.

The 9-hole "Hobart" course at the Hobart Country Club facility in Hobart, Oklahoma features 3,036 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35. The course rating is 34.2 and it has a slope rating of 106 on Bermuda grass. Hobart golf course opened in 1930. It also has a swimming pool.
Quartz Mountain State Park & Lake 20 Miles SW of Hobart The Quartz Mountain Lake and Lodge is a little bit of heaven in Southwestern Oklahoma. Located only 18 miles southwest of Hobart, the state owned resort features restaurants and lodging along with a recreational lake for swimming, fishing, and water sports. The lake is also used for irrigation by area farmers. Perhaps one of the best known activities at the lodge is the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute held in June for high school students from throughout the State of Oklahoma. After an intensive week of study in their various fields, recitals and/or showings are held for the general public. www.quartzmountainresort.com Tom Steed Lake & State Park 15 Miles South of Hobart on Hwy. 183 Lake Tom Steed Lake lies on the west side of the Wichita Mountains and has 6,400 surface acres and 31 miles of shoreline. It is noted for crappie, catfish, sand bass, walleye, saugeye, and stripers.

Great Plains State Park on the west side of the Lake offers year round camping.
