Administration
The county is governed by the County Commissioners who are elected to represent three areas of the county... the south which includes Roosevelt and Snyder, the west and part of Hobart which includes part of Hobart and Lone Wolf and the east part of Hobart which includes Gotebo and Mountain View.
The work of the County Commissioners is funded by an advalorum tax of $71.09 per $1000 evaluation. The County Commissioners meet monthly at the Kiowa County Courthouse.
The three commissioners are Tom Anderson, Snyder, Dee Max Corbin, Lone Wolf and Tim Binghom, Hobart.
