Hobart Main Street Organization Committee

MISSION STATEMENT:  To recruit additional volunteers for committees and functions, to develop communication through the local newspaper and radio, to develop a quarterly Hobart Main Street Newsletter, to provide speakers at local and state functions to promote Hobart, to provide training to all volunteers of the Hobart Main Street Program, to develop  fundraising campaigns to support the program, to coordinate with Hobart Public Schools concerning the Jr. Main Street Program, and to plan and develop the Hobart Main Street Banquet.

Committee Members:  Lori Bennitt, Leesa Hogg, Nancy Bridwell, Lynda Gurthrie, Diana Clark, Sandy Muldrow, and Patty Johnson

The Organization Committee is responsible for the Annual Main Street Banquet, Main Street Day at the Capitol, Hobart Main Street Appreciation Day, Main Street Newsletter, and Christmas Reception.

Work Plans include:  Fundraising Projects, Communications through the media, Membership Development, Public Information Programs, Volunteer Training, Junior Main Street Organization, Senior Main Street Organization, Volunteer Leadership Development and Management, and Publishing Quarterly Newsletters.
