Hobart Farmers Market
The Hobart Main Street Program sponsors the Hobart Farmers Market each year on the west side of the Kiowa County Courthouse Square during the summer beginning the first Saturday in June and running each Saturday morning and Wednesday afternoon throught September. During the peak season, which is July and August, there will be 12 to 14 different vegetable growers with garden fresh produce that includes new potatoes, onions, beets, turnips, greens, cucumbers, squash, okra, tomatoes, green beans, zucchini, water melons, corn, cantelopes, lettuce, cabbage, apricots, peaches, apples, pears, pumpkins, black-eyed peas, and other items.
